Westward Ho!

On Sunday morning we hit the road bound for glory, or at least Cinton, NY, the home of Hamilton College. Tim had not been back to his old stompin' grounds since he graduated in 1990, so we thought we'd swing by to see the campus and relive the Glory Days (gratuitous Bruce reference, for those of you keeping track). It was a balmy day in New England when we headed out of town:

We took the scenic Route 2 across Massachusetts, arriving at Hamilton College at 4:00:

Good times, good times! We broke into my old dorm, room 223 Dunham Hall. It was like prison.

The campus was quite a bit smaller than I remembered, and there was hardly any snow! Not too many changes on campus, but a new science center (I never knew where the old one was, anyway - History Major, thank you very much. With Honors.)

Old Al Ham was still there:

And his little friend:

We got chased off campus by Sparky the Campus Cop and headed to Syracuse for a fun night at the Red Roof Inn.
