Suggestions?

OK all you Tim and Lisa fans, we are looking for suggestions. You know what we are doing on this trip - seeing America. It's a big country out there and you all have seen a lot of it. Tell us (use the comments button) your top five places, sights, or things out there that you think we have to see. If we get to your top spot, we'll take a picture and even send you good, positive karma from that spot! Go ahead, tell us where to go. Just to get you started, these are my top 5, in no particular order:
  1. Niagara Falls
  2. Mt. Rushmore
  3. Grand Canyon
  4. Graceland
  5. Mt. St. Helens.

Ok, here's Ann's list of places I'd go if I were you (there are more than 5). My list includes events that I'd like to see too. I would have started the trip earlier in this month at Augusta Georgia to watch the Masters. Next onto Churchill Downs to see the Kentucky Derby. I've always wanted to go and sip on Mint Juleps with a nice hat. From there I'd go to Chicago to see the Cubs play at Wrigley. I've always wanted to see Aspen too, but probably more so in the winter to ski. I also would love to go to the RiverWalk in San Antonio and while in Texas, I'd visit Austin too. Last year at this time, I would have included going to the New Orleans JazzFest and onto Bourbon St, but since the hurricane, I've crossed that off the list. I have been to Sedona AZ and it is spectacular. I would go back in a heartbeat. I've never been to Cali, but I think I'd like to visit wine country, Pebble Beach, and San Diego. I feel that no trip would be complete without visiting the Southern Most Point of the US, Key West. I hear the Garden of Eden there is lovely.

Yes, we know that I walk to my own drummer, but there are a few places that I would find very interestging. Well, in no particular order, here's some things I would like to see:
Alcatraz Island - San Francisco, CA
Pecos Wilderness - New Mexico
Home of the Unabomber - Lincoln, Montana
Space Needle - Seattle, WA
Magnetic Vortex - Sedona, AZ

Tim and Lisa, you are missing some of the greatest attractions our country has to offer. I would highly recommend:

The Corn Palace (S. Dakota)
Bear Country USA (also S. Dakota)
Wall Drug (look for signs on the highway, you'll find it)
The wild west show on the train up to the Grand Canyon
Roswell New Mexico (try to get there on July 4th for the UFO festival)

Good luck!
