Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Cleveland!
We spent about 3 hours yesterday wandering around the RnR Hall of Fame in Cleveland. It's a fun place with a lot of Rock and Roll information, guitars, retrospectives, crazy outfits, etc. All and all, a well done museum. It sits down on part of the waterfront of Cleveland, which seems to be very underutilized.
A couple of things we noted there:
1. Despite the fact the our boy Bruce has released somewhere around 20 albums and has been performing since the early 1970s, the only song he is ever shown performing is Born in the USA, complete with bandanas and jeans and a white t-shirt.
2. The beginning of the song La Bamba does NOT start with:
bla la la la la bamba. There are actual Spanish words. Who knew?
3. A disproportionate number of people in Cleveland look like Drew Carey.
4. There does not seem to be any residential housing in Cleveland. We have no idea where anybody lives.

Sorry there wasn't enough Bruce and U2 for you guys...If you had gone early this morning, you might've bumped into Al Roker who was broadcasting on the Today Show. I definitely thought of you! (And you'll be happy to know he made reference to the U2 cars hanging from the ceiling!) It was great to talk with you on your birthday, Lis--good luck with the phone charger situation. Enjoy the windy city!
